Community Partner of the Year Award: Ryan Finch

Ryan Finch has been a supporter of St. Joseph’s Health Care London since 1991, and in 2013 began focusing his support on mental health care, largely through St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation’s Breakfast of Champions. In 2023, a $5-million donation in support of mental health care research was announced, one of the largest financial contributions to mental health research of its kind in southwestern Ontario. The donation funds the MINDS 2.0 (Mental health INcubator for Disruptive Solutions) research project which focuses on youth and younger adults, establishes a Chair in Mental Health System Transformation focused on changing how mental health care is delivered, and supports a number of other research initiatives at Lawson Health Research Institute.
