NEW THIS YEAR
Based on feedback, key changes are being implemented to better meet your needs and support a positive experience for all participants.
Abstract Research Categories – Pilot Project
A pilot project is being undertaken to develop new and broader-based research categories that better fit the submitted abstracts and judge expertise. When submitting abstracts, you will be asked to use two separate methods to select the research category for your abstract, and indicate a primary and secondary choice for each. This will assist the LHRD Academic Committee in identifying the most useful breakdown of categories.
Guidelines for Poster Presentations – NEW LHRD Poster Passports
While all submitted written abstracts will be evaluated in advance of the event, there will be no on-site scoring of the poster presentations by formal judges. Instead, a new “passport system” will encourage all guests and participants to visit different posters, engage with the presenters, and provide valuable feedback. Each person at LHRD 2017 can visit different posters in an attempt to fill up a Poster Passport for the morning and afternoon sessions. Winners will be announced at the Networking and Awards Reception by random draw.
