Call for Abstracts: London Health Research Day 2018
London Health Research Day is the region’s premier research showcase event, highlighting the incredible work done by graduate students, trainees, clinical fellows and postdoctoral scholars. The day includes poster and platform presentations, networking opportunities and a keynote presentation from a world-class scientist as part of The Lucille & Norton Wolf Health Research Lecture Series.
Submit your abstract by January 30, 2018
Please note that this year’s rules and regulations have changed.
IMPORTANT UPDATES
Based on your feedback, key changes are being implemented for poster presentations to better meet your needs and support a positive experience for all participants.
Judging for Poster Presentations + LHRD Poster Passports
London Health Research Day will once again feature a poster presentation competition. All submitted written abstracts will be evaluated in advance of the event. Following the selection of the top 40 abstracts for feature platform presentations, the next strongest abstracts (up to 150) will be selected for a poster presentation competition. Please review the updated rules and regulations for more details.
LHRD 2018 will also feature the “passport system.” The passport system, implemented last year, encourages all guests and participants to visit different posters, engage with the presenters and provide valuable feedback. Each participant presenting at LHRD 2018 can visit different posters in an attempt to fill a poster passport for the morning and afternoon sessions. Winners will be announced at the end of the day by random draw.
