Research Overview
My research interests and collaborations focus on identifying timely and effective strategies for reducing wait times for children’s mental health services, focusing on the treatment of emotional disorders such as anxiety, OCD, and depression.
Projects include evaluation of a standardized triage tool for prioritizing children’s needs based on urgency, increasing access to evidence-based treatment through implementation of a GET-CARE Clinic, as well as e-mental health applications to engage and prepare adolescents for mental health treatment.
Additional research interests center on understanding the effective components of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for the prevention and treatment of anxiety disorders and depression.
